Good observation.

I have two sons and a daughter. I’ve found the boys like the shows with female leads less than the ones with male leads. However as far as clothing etc is concerned, I don’t think the difference is enough to warrant making separate labels unless you tear it down to that perception of ownership. I do see that males would be more likely to buy things that don’t give them the immediate feeling of femininity.

Personally I don’t think that’s a bad thing. There is, after all, a difference between masculine and feminine for a reason.

This is amazingly awesome.

My favorite part: “I think they both lost sight of the fact that the meeting wasn't about culpability for past failures, it was about finally killing and eating the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in a soup or stew, which is really something everybody wants.”

$40,000? That’s pretty crazy even for a classic bit of movie history. Maybe this is more reason to start playing the lottery? In the meantime, I’ve seen lots of sci-fi gun replicas at toy and comic shows including Logan’s Run, Lost in Space and Battlestar Galactica (1978) but I don’t recall seeing a Forbidden Planet blaster recently.
